Veterans and Military

Teaching veterans and military members is especially close to my heart. Having a veteran as a father has taught me about sacrifice and how to live a purposeful life serving others.

I currently teach active members and veterans from all five branches of the military. As a member of The SAG-AFTRA Military Committee, I created and taught acting classes for our union military members. In addition to teaching acting technique and scene study, I educated veterans on the resources available to them in the entertainment industry, ways to network with other veterans and ways to further their education. I have also taught a class at Veterans in Media Entertainment. I worked with students to develop one-person shows helping them to tell their individual stories.

I am always looking for new ways to serve Veterans!

"I came to Rachel a year ago for coaching. I had just moved into a new position and was anxious about having more responsibility and a larger speaking role. What I got from Rachel was so much more than speaking practice! She helped me to tune into my authentic self, speak with confidence and really connect with my audience, to accept and manage my nerves, and lean into the parts of me that I thought needed to be covered up. For my capstone brief, she helped me get to the heart of my message and fine tune my delivery and calls to action. I never thought I would be a good public speaker, but she saw and then brought out the best in me. Her coaching has transformed my relationship to being in the spotlight and I cannot recommend her enough!"
